Anthem selects The Trussell Trust as chosen charity for 2023

At the end of 2022, the Anthem team voted for the company’s new chosen charity for 2023 and selected the UK foodbank charity The Trussell Trust.

The Trussell Trust supports a network of food banks across the nation, providing emergency food and support to people in poverty and facing hardship. The company provides support for more than 1,200 food banks in the UK – that’s roughly two-thirds of all food banks in the country.

Between 2020 and 2021, The Trussell Trust provided 2.5 million three-day emergency food supplies to people in crisis. As the cost of living crisis worsens, The Trussell Trust continues to support more people and families with emergency food supplies in a compassionate and dignified way.

The charity’s vision is to end the need for food banks, and we want to support them in making that vision a reality.

Anthem’s chosen charity from 2019 to 2022 was mental health charity Bath Mind, who we feel incredibly privileged to have been able to work so closely with, offering financial support to a cause that is close to our hearts as a business and for our readers.

Anthem donated a total of £34,055 to Bath Mind during our four-year relationship, a sum that we know has made a significant contribution to the vital support offered by the charity.

We plan to emulate this close and successful relationship with The Trussell Trust over the next few years.
