Women’s Running Podcast awarded at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards 2025

This week, the Women’s Running Podcast received a Highly Commended accolade in the Best Use of Audio category at the AOP Digital Publishing Awards 2025

This latest recognition adds a further feather in the Podcast’s cap, which is the proud recipient of three PPA Independent Publisher Awards for Best Podcast.

The Highly Commended award recognises the Women’s Running Podcast’s growth in listenership, and its commitment to community, as well as its strong commercial results, which saw a 46% increase YOY.

Shortlisted alongside the Telegraph’s Ukraine: The Latest podcast (the eventual winner on the evening) as well as the Daily Mail’s podcast division, Women’s Running were thrilled to have been recognised among such illustrious nominees.

Co-hosts of the podcast, Esther and Holly, attended the glamourous event in Billingsgate, and were delighted to receive the Highly Commended accolade, saying, “We didn’t think we stood a chance alongside such mighty names in journalism.

“The Telegraph’s Ukraine podcast was an incredibly worthy winner, and we take our hats off to their journalism and their brilliant use of AI, which was truly exciting to hear about.
