Women's Running Podcast wins award

On Friday 25th November, the Women’s Running Podcast was awarded Podcast of the Year at the PPA Independent Publisher Award – for the second year in a row!

“This is a joint win for all of us,” said Holly Taylor, who hosts the podcast with Women’s Running Editor Esther Newman. “I absolutely love the Pod Squad we’ve built together, and I’m so pleased that the judges saw how special this community, and running, is.”

The PPA Independent Publisher Awards aim to bring together the UK publishing community, celebrating standout work and innovative approaches.

The judges praised Holly and Esther’s efforts with the podcast: “The Women’s Running Podcast felt very unique and special to the judges. They were impressed with how it engages with the subject matter in a very personal way, making it feel fresh and authentic for their dedicated listeners.”

This is the second year in the row that the Women’s Running Podcast has been recognised at the PPA Independent Publisher Awards for its impact and success.

Women’s Running was also shortlisted for Diversity & Inclusion Award, while Colouring Heaven was shortlisted for Consumer Publication of the Year.

We couldn’t be more proud of Holly and Esther’s success with the Women’s Running Podcast – congratulations to the whole Women’s Running team!
