Anthem donates magazines to NHS Staff

As a leading UK publisher of wellbeing magazines, Anthem knows better than most what an important part magazines can play in mindfulness and relaxation time. And that’s exactly why we’ve joined the new scheme to provide NHS workers with complimentary newspapers and magazines during their breaks…

As the nation units every Thursday to #ClapForCarers, we all want to do more to say thank you to those on the frontline of this global pandemic. While we all embrace our task of staying home in order to stay safe, NHS workers are quite literally putting their lives on the line for the British public and experiencing things that the rest of us will hopefully never even be able to imagine.

So when Anthem heard that Gold Key Media were working directly with NHS Hospitals, in particular St Thomas’ and Guy’s Hospitals in London, to provide a wide selection of complimentary newspapers and magazine to their new Wellbeing Units, we jumped at the chance to join in.

The Wellbeing Units have been set up to give NHS workers some time to relax and escape the frontline during their breaks, and of course the staff are encouraged to take the magazines home with them too.

Anthem will be supplying copies of leading mindfulness titles Colouring Heaven and Ultimate Dot2Dot every month throughout the crisis, and also will be adding copies of Planet Mindful to the first delivery too.

It’s a small gesture, but it’s our way of helping to say thank you to everything NHS workers are doing for us. You really are all incredible!
