We’re looking for a Marketing Assistant to join our team at Anthem Publishing.

About the role

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and resourceful individual to help sell subscriptions and single issues to our customers. You’ll have the opportunity to learn and grow within the team as you support marketing campaigns and projects, placing particular focus on our music brands Classic Pop, Vintage Rock and Kings and Queens of Pop.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You’ll have a keen focus on direct sales, planning and implementing marketing campaigns on single magazine issues
  • You’ll work across a variety of marketing channels and e-commerce platforms
  • You’ll help with growing the audiences for our music brands
  • You’ll contribute to promoting subscriptions and looking after our loyal subscribers
  • You’ll provide general support for the marketing team

You’ll have an eye for trends and revenue-generating opportunities in a direct-to-consumer landscape.

Desired Education/Experience

  • Marketing (or related) degree or training qualification
  • Experience using email platforms, Canva, and WordPress
  • Previous experience in Marketing

This experience would offer an advantage, although training will be provided to the successful candidate. Above all, we value positivity, flexibility, and a willingness to learn.

£21,000 per annum

Working arrangements:

This is a permanent/full-time role working Monday-Friday. Anthem’s office is based in Bath. We’re offering hybrid/remote working in this role.

You’ll be fully equipped to enable remote working but will be expected to work from our Bath office at least twice a month to attend team meetings and strategic planning sessions. Attending the office is expected when working on tasks that require a high level of collaboration and for training sessions.
