Anthem scales up digital recruitment to support its new digital strategy

Traditionally, Anthem has always been celebrated as an award-winning print publisher, but since embarking on a major website development programme at the end of 2019, we have increased our focus on digital growth. Now we’re ready for stage two of the process, which includes recruiting three new members for our growing digital team…

Although Anthem’s three leading brands – Vegan Food & Living, Women’s Running and Colouring Heaven – continue to grow as print titles, both on the newsstand and in membership numbers, few brands can thrive these days without an active digital presence too.

With this in mind, at the end of 2019 Anthem set out on a mission to revamp its three core sites with the help of local agency Bopgun, to transform them into mobile-first multi-media platforms offering the best in expert content and user experience.

This was followed by a major investment in digital training in 2020 for the existing digital team to develop their skills and knowledge.

Now we’re continuing to ramp up investment in digital by recruiting three new members of staff.

Following on from the success of two apprentices joining the business in April this year, we’re looking for three digital assistants to join the company, one for each of our three core brands.

In addition to our new members of staff, we’re also growing our team of freelance expert writers to create bespoke website content for each brand.
