Colouring Masterclass goes down a storm

Colouring Heaven magazine hosted a sold out Colouring Masterclass last week, at Bath’s Guildhall Council Chambers.

World-renowned fantasy artist Jasmine Becket-Griffith joined professional coloured pencil artist Jo Barber and Colouring Heaven editor Jenny Cook for a Masterclass on how to colour skin and hair. Guests of the event were given advice on how to improve their colouring technique, and received an exclusive design from Jasmine Becket-Griffith to colour with a set of professional colouring pencils to use and keep.

The event marks another move in Anthem’s venture to build new revenue streams as a way to complement traditional newsstand sales. With the publisher’s vast depth of knowledge in its key subject areas, as well as the close relationship it enjoys with large numbers of committed readers, the event was a worthwhile and meaningful experience for guests.

Editor Jenny Cook said: “We were so excited to be able to host this unique event! The colouring community is so close-knit, so actually being able to meet up with colouring friends, learning from professional coloured pencil artist Jo Barber and meeting the incredible Jasmine Becket-Griffith was a fantastic opportunity.”
