Paul Pettengale – Rest in Peace

We are deeply sorry to share the news that Anthem’s joint founder and former director, Paul Pettengale, passed away in August 2020

Paul was a lovely, talented and kind person who touched many lives with his work at Anthem and at Future before that.

He edited and created brilliant magazines that were enjoyed by thousands of people, including virtually all of our titles at Anthem for our first ten years – MusicTech, Italia! and Classic Pop among them.

But he was perhaps most proud of the chances he gave to young journalists and the opportunities and encouragement he gave them to develop their own careers in publishing.

He was a good friend and we will miss him greatly.
